. The Naza Group of Companies is a Malaysian business conglomerate involved in many types of business ranging from motoring to education. In 2004 Perodua started assembling the Toyota Avanza at its plant in Rawang for sale in Malaysia. The group began operations in 1975 as a motor trading company.

Daihatsu held a 20 stake in Perodua at the companys launch increasing this to 25 in 2001 and then to 35. The group has business divisions including vehicle and bike distribution motor-trading.
